I recently had the privilege of photographing an awards event for the Fort Worth Chapter 8th Annual PRSA Worthy Awards Gala.  PRSA is the Public Relations Society of America and this event was to celebrate the best in strategic communications programs and tactics practiced by professional and students in the greater Fort Worth area.   

The Greater Fort Worth Chapter of PRSA is an organization dedicated to enhancing the profession of public relations by promoting the professionalism of its members, as well as the public perception of the value of our contribution to the betterment of the community.

The awards consisted of categories such as Video, Internal and External Communication, Media Relations, Marketing/Sales Communication, Social Media, Website, Brand Management, as well as special presentations for the Communicator of the Year Award and The Douglas Ann Newsom PRSA Professional of the Year award.  

The event was held at the Ridglea Country Club in Fort Worth and the Master of Ceremonies was David Wilk, Oliver Tull and Ray Sharp of Four Day Weekend.  These guys are great entertainers and if you haven't had a chance to see their show in Fort Worth or in Dallas, you really should make a point to go see them.  They really know how to engage an audience!
