Senior Photo Ideas for Guys

Your Senior Session:

Fast forward to the senior photography session and I can say without exception, I have photographed some of the most kind and considerate young men.  Some were clearly there because this is what their parents wanted and they are being gracious and cooperating to please mom.  However, most come around during their senior session and their personality starts to show through with a few of them even tossing out ideas and suggestions for poses - which is great!  

It is safe to say in the beginning that I don't think the guys have a vision of what they might want to do with their senior images but when they see their images after their session and they see a mock up of a senior book with them as the star, it all comes together for them.  

Whether we are in the studio or on location, it is always my goal to make a senior's session customized and personalized for them - so no two sessions are exactly the same.  If they have a location in mind, that is great, but if not, I am ready with several suggestions based on what I have learned about them.  And, we try to incorporate as many items as possible based on where we take their photos to really showcase who they are at this point in their life.  I want them to be able to look back on their senior book and remember that time with nostalgia and fondness of who they were and how much they have accomplished in the years since graduation.
