Then we moved to a second location in the park (Davis Park in Highland Park).  There were several other photographers also photographing, so we actually needed to wait for one to finish in the location we were wanting.  After just a couple of photographs,  Ferdinand decided it was time to pop the question!  Remember, Anifa is shy, and with other people standing around, not really paying attention, but still in close proximity, I think she was a bit overwhelmed and self-conscious not to mention surprised when she realized what he was saying.  

After a brief conversation held privately out of the view of "the crowd," Anifa had a chance to process this life-changing event and said yes.  She was then ready to come back and let me photograph them. 

Clearly, by the end of the time there, she was smiling big showing her excitement!
